The Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) is searching for vendors with the capabilities to provide inspection services for the elevators at the Danville VAMC Healthcare Systems located at 1900 East Main Street, Danville, II 61832. The vendor shall inspect no-load, full-load and special tests as required by A17.1 and A17.2. The tests shall include annual (Category 1), periodic (category 1 semi-annual), Category 5 (5-year load test FY21) and an annual pressure relief test on the hydraulic elevators as required by A17.1 The inspector shall ensure that the elevator maintenance contractor's preventative maintenance program meets the standards of A17.1 and that A17.2 is correctly documented and up to date. The inspector shall inspect the elevator equipment for evidence of proper maintenance. Adjustment and repair deficiencies shall also be recorded on the inspection form. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to satisfy the needs of the agency.
