This is NOT a formal solicitation notice. This Sources Sought is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. 2.0 Item Description Item Name: Gyroscope, Rate (Gyro Block Assembly, Gun) National Stock Number (NSN): 1240-01-095-5205 Technical Data Package (TDP) Number: 12292348 End Item: M2 Infantry Fighting Vehicle 3.0 Statement of Need The Gyroscope, Rate (Gyro Block Assembly, Gun) is a critical component for the M2 Infantry Fighting Vehicle. This item requires specialized manufacturing capabilities. 4.0 Quality and Testing Requirements Quality Management System (QMS): Higher Level Contract Quality System requirement. Suppliers must possess a QMS certified to ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent. First Article Testing (FAT): FAT will be required. The FAT report is due within 180 days of contract award.
