The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Eastern Regional Research Center (ERRC) in Wyndmoor, PA requires a Corrosion Grease Tester that measures the ability of lubricating grease and oil products to protect a bearing against corrosion in the presence of either distilled or demineralized water, salt water, or synthetic sea water, and under no applied load. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-05 (effective 08 July 2025). This acquisition is 100% small business set aside. The Produce Service Code is 6630 Chemical Analytical Instruments; NAICS for this procurement is: 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturer, Size Standard is 1,000. Communication Regarding this Solicitation: The vendor shall submit a quote via email to david.tibbs@usda.gov with a subject line of Quote: 1232SA25Q0941 , for receipt no later than 12:00 pm (Noon) EDT, Monday, 22 September 2025. Only those quotes received by this date and time will be considered for award. Submission of the quote that does not contain all items requested below may result in elimination from consideration for award. Quotes must include the following items: 1. The company name 2. POC Name, email address, telephone number 3. RFQ number 4. SAM Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number. 5. Quotes should include a firm fixed price (FFP) format for all items requested inclusive of all freight/delivery/installation. 6. Quotes should contain enough information for the requiring agency to make a proper determination on technical acceptability. Quote should address the elements of the Specifications (Attachment 1) and terms and conditions.
