The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Detroit District intends to solicit for the Grand Haven Outer Maintenance Dredging and Beach Nourishment project, located in Grand Haven, Michigan. The project includes, but not limited to, Mobilize dredge to the Grand Haven Outer Harbor, located in Ottawa County, MI. Dredge will take place within the stationing: -25+00 to -14+00, targeting 40,000 CY. Beach nourishment placement will take place in a permitted, designated State Park area South of the harbor. Demobilize when dredging work is completed. Should Option(s) be awarded, mobilize dredge to Grand Haven Outer Harbor in 2027, dredge between the limits and place material as shown in plans. Demobilize when work is complete. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is intended to be issued as a firm fixed-price contract competitive 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction (Dredging), which as a small business size standard of $37 million, Product Service Code Y1KF Construction of Dredging facilities. General Information: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Anticipated Solicitation Posting Date: October 2025 Anticipated Bid Due Date: November 2025 The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and attachments to the anticipated solicitation will be available only electronically and via the PIEE Solicitation Module and/or SAM.gov which is free of charge. Hard copy documents will NOT be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this pre-solicitation notice or the upcoming solicitation. Please note the Government will not be maintaining a bidders list during the solicitation period. However, vendors are strongly encouraged to review the "Interested Vendors List" found on sam.gov for this requirement.
