GPU-accelerated spectrum analyzers/SDRs are being pursued to support ITS's research and development for NTIA's spectrum policy and management, enabling basic radio science work that underpins policy decisions and spectrum management activities, as well as solving telecommunications challenges for federal agencies, state and local governments, private companies and associations, and international organizations.
