The purpose of this acquisition is to purchase new XX pump repair/rebuild kits and motor bearings. These governor oil pumps were refurbished by American Governor in 2020-2022 and require maintenance to replace the oil pump consumables ever 5 years. American Governor has since been acquired by Emerson Process Management Power & Water Solutions. The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a single source (1) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold.
