Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Tunisia will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The requirement is for providing of Gardening services to the US Mission in Tunis, Tunisia. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a Proposal which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. Notwithstanding FAR 4.203-1(b)(5)(ii), the Contracting Officer has determined that it is in the best interest of the U.S. Government that offerors be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov at the time of submitting a proposal. Enclosed is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for gardening services at the American Embassy Tunis. If you would like to submit a proposal, follow the instructions in Section 3 of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown on Standard Form 1449 that follows this letter. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial proposal, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. The Embassy intends to conduct a pre-proposal conference at the site that will be held on May 18th, 2026 at 10am (local time) at the US Embassy Tunis. Prospective offerors/quoters should contact Achraaf Ladhari at ladharia@state.gov and Besma Mighri at mighrib@state.gov by May 14th, 2026 at 4pm for additional information or to arrange entry to the building.
