Provides Roman Catholic Priest Services at William S. Middleton Memorial VA Hospital in Madison, WI. Duties include conducting Eucharistic Celebrations (weekly Mass and holiday services) in the hospital chapel, generally 10 hours per week for sacraments, chaplaincy duties, meetings, and training; respond promptly to patient and staff requests; maintain open communication with Chaplain Service leadership and other chaplains; attend weekly in-person Chaplain Service meetings; share non-confidential spiritual health information with other disciplines to ensure continuity of care; arrange worship ambience and provide religious instruction; prepare and submit a monthly service schedule for approval; on-call readiness for emergencies; chapel facilities are provided. Contractors must be ordained Roman Catholic priests affiliated with the Archdiocese for the Military Services, be proficient in English and computer-literate for electronic medical record documentation, and report workloads as required. This is a market research/sources-sought step to determine capability and acquisition approach.

New information indicates a shift to sole-source negotiation: the government intends to award a base-plus-four-options contract with Fr. Patrick J. If no other qualified responses are received, the award will proceed with the identified individual without competitive quotes. Vendors may submit capability statements with evidence of qualifications and references; solicitation documents are not available.
