Summary

AI-generated · Mar 09, 2026

Replace and restore raised airfield lights and signs tied to the B-52 RADAR Modernization effort, ensuring the B-52 can access the runway from the Boeing Ramp to taxiway Echo, crossing Taxiway Alpha, and staying on Echo to the runway. The contract covers the runway and taxiway lighting and signs described in the draft SOW; after reinstalling, any lights/signs found inoperable as originally determined must be repaired, and the contractor is responsible for lights/signs damaged during performance. If replacement parts are available from the government, they may be used, but the contractor must replenish the government’s stock with identical parts.

This is voluntary market research (sources-sought). Attachments include the Sources Sought Questionnaire and the draft SOW for FY26 Airfield Runway Taxiway Light Removal; respondents are asked to complete and return the questionnaire.

The Government anticipates the need to replace the raised lights and signs in relation to the B-52 RADAR Modernization Program as the B-52 aircraft is towed or taxied on the runway as defined in the draft Statement of Work (SOW). Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring the B-52 has access to the runway from Boeing and ensure the lights and signs are restored back to original condition. The B-52 path will be from the Boeing Ramp to taxiway Echo, crossing Taxiway Alpha, and stay on Taxiway Echo to the runway. The runway and taxiway lights and runway signs, as described in the drafted SOW, are included in this contract. After the runway lights/signs are reinstalled, if found inoperable as originally determined, then the contractor shall repair the lights/signs. Contractor shall be responsible for lights/signs that were damaged during this contract, if the Government has replacement parts available, they may be used; however, the Contractor shall be responsible for replenishing the Government s stock with identical part(s). Please complete and return the attached Sources Sought questionnaire NTL 11 Mar 26, 1:00 PM CST. Participation in this market research is strictly voluntary. Attachments: 1.
