Amendment 0001 - W912KZ25QA016 The purpose of this amendment is to extend the closing date of Solicitation W912KZ25QA016, to inform all potential offerors that the brand-name-only justification is under review. The Government has received a challenge from a potential offeror regarding the brand name only specification. The challenge alleges that the solicitation is restricted to a single manufacturer without acknowledging other approved systems limits competition and may conflict with the principles of full and open competition under FAR Part 6. To ensure compliance with the principles of full and open competition, FAR part 6, the contracting office will conduct a thorough review of the justification and the protests claims. An amendment to the specification may follow this review. To provide adequate time for this review and any subsequent changes, the closing date for this solicitation must be extended.
