Identify interest and capabilities from both small and large businesses to perform maintenance dredging and confined disposal facility (CDF) maintenance at Bolles Harbor and Monroe Harbor in Monroe County, Michigan. The work would involve mobilizing dredge equipment to both locations, conducting the dredging and CDF maintenance, and demobilizing upon completion. Bolles Harbor will be dredged using the box method with inner harbor depth of 6 ft plus 1 ft overdepth and outer harbor depth of 8 ft plus 1 ft overdepth. Monroe Harbor will be dredged hydraulically using the box method, with the river channel dredged to 23 ft plus 1 ft overdepth and the Turning Basin to 20 ft plus 1 ft overdepth; a 25-foot buffer between the sheet pile wall and the river channel is required, resulting in a dredge depth of 21 ft within that buffer. CDF maintenance includes vegetation clearing, clearing and grubbing (in designated cells), and tree removal, including dikes and related shoreline areas.
