The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to utilize other than full-and-open competition to award a contract modification to Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (LM RMS) of Moorestown, New Jersey (NJ). The fiscal year 2025 requirement includes the production, test, and delivery of the AEGIS Linear Processing System (ALPS) for in-service AEGIS ships undergoing AEGIS Modernization (AMOD) availabilities in FY2028. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement within 15 days. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Any submissions will not be reimbursed by the Government, the entire cost of any submission will be at the sole expense of the source submitting the information. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is for informational purposes only.
