The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) anticipates a requirement that is being considered under a small business set-aside program. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed is 315250. The size standard for NAICS is 750 employees. This requirement is for USAFA cadet swimsuits and compression shorts which are mandatory issue items. LRS Cadet Uniform Section has a continuing need for these items. The swimsuits and compression shorts must be ordered and received in time for scheduled clothing events in June 2026. The Buy American Act DFARS 252.225-7001 will apply to this acquisition. The government will not provide Government Furnished Material (GFM); the contractor will be responsible for procuring all materials to manufacture the garments. A first article sample will be required in accordance with FAR 52.209-4 Alt 1. The government intends to solicit a firm-fixed price contract.
