Summary

AI-generated · Mar 09, 2026

A market survey is being conducted to determine if a sufficient number of small business concerns are interested to be set aside for this future project. The work involves renovating the VoTech building at Fort Knox to relocate the Community Superintendent Office from MacDonald Elementary School, plus renovating adjacent spaces in the Ft. Knox MHS Gymnasium, and constructing a 75-foot-long, 24-foot-wide access road from the parking lot to the VoTech rear. MacDonald Elementary School will be demolished as part of the Scott Middle School MILCON, and the CSO functions will relocate to the VoTech to enable the MILCON schedule. The overall effort is a design-bid-build renovation with an anticipated 365-day performance period and a project value estimated between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.

Respondents must be small businesses (and may include HUBZone, 8A, Woman-Owned, or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned) and provide: current small-business status, Unique Entity Identifier and CAGE codes, and bonding documentation showing current single and aggregate limits. Provide descriptions of up to three example projects where you acted as the prime contractor, with details on completion status, scope, size, contract value, and whether the work was design-bid-build or design-build, plus the number of subcontractors by trade and the percentage of work self-performed. Include references with contact information for verification and specify how you will meet the 15% self-perform requirement. The submittal package is limited to 8 pages. Responses must be submitted via the provided Microsoft Forms link; this is not a bid or commitment, and responses will inform future solicitation decisions.
