The Flywheel Module (FWM), P/N FRU-FWM-03, is a high-velocity-rotational-composite-fiber flywheel assembly within the Energy Storage System (ESS) cabinet that provides an output voltage of 290 to 670 VDC to the Motor Drive Cabinet (MDC) at 190 kW to power the Electromechanical Actuator (EMA) drive motor. The FWM dimensions include 22 x 24 x 28 (L/W/H) one each, steel enclosure, and has a Magnetic Levitation Module (MLM) component controlling the magnetic bearings inside the FWM.
