FLUOROMETER 1) This Synopsis/Solicitation Notice is to announce the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI), U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement a fluorometer for the analysis of chlorophyll a, phycoerythrin, phycocyanin, and colored dissolved organic matter (CDOM)/fluorescence of dissolved organic matter (FDOM). at the Upper Midwest Environmental Sciences Center (UMESC) in accordance with the attached solicitation. 2) The synopsis/solicitation number is 140G0225Q0099 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). 3) The award for this requirement shall be made using the policies in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation, and award prescribed in FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, as appropriate for this Acquisition. The award shall be made to the vendor whose quote, conforming to this RFQ, is determined to be the most advantageous to the Government. 4) This solicitation is a SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE.
