NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Flashtags Announcement No.: 1156874 The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price to purchase Flashtags CONTRACTOR PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS The USDA-NWRC-Predator Project requests the approval to purchase 1800 flashtags and associated controller units from a US company that can manufacture these tags. The following summarizes the procurement requirement: Purchase: 1800 flashtags meeting the following specifications Green and/or red LED lights Motion sensitive Battery operated Sensitive to ambient light so they only turn on at night 3 controller units Ability to control light pattern with controller units. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1The statutory authority is 41 U.S.C. 253(c )(1) The property or services needed by the executive agency are available from only one responsible source and no other type of property or services will satisfy the needs of the executive agency.
