A unit at Edwards Air Force Base is seeking capability statements from industry to provide a Fire Pump Operations Simulator. This is an information-gathering RFI, not a bid or binding commitment. Respondents should describe their ability to supply a commercial fire pump simulator and relevant experience on similar government or commercial contracts, including company size and any contracts or agreements. The government will use the input to shape acquisition strategy and may issue a formal RFQ later; SAM registration is required. Submissions should be concise (up to about 10 pages) and provided in Word format.

A formal combined synopsis/solicitation will follow for a hands-on Hands-on Fire Pump Operator Simulator to replicate a top-mount fire pump panel with accurate controls, hydraulics, and instrumentation, supporting scenarios such as drafting, hydrant operations, and relay pumping, along with realistic feedback, emergency conditions, and sound effects; it includes an instructor station and related simulation features. The contract will be firm-fixed-price and awarded to a single qualified offeror, with a small-business set-aside. Proposals must include standard commercial item representations, SAM registration, and a complete technical and price package; the government will evaluate on price, features, delivery, and warranty terms for best value. Proposals are submitted by email to the designated contracting office, with questions due by the specified deadline.
