MHAFB is gauging the interest of total small business set aside with further potential set aside into socioeconomic categorys. Contracting is requiring the replacement of the antiquated fire alarm system of two MHAFB dormitories with a new fire alarm system. The following work shall be IAW with manufacture instructions in conjunction with the SOW. The main scope for this project is to replace the existing fire alarm devices and associated Fire Alarm Panel with a new devices (smoke and heat) and an addressable Fire Alarm Panel / Mass Notification System (FA/MNS) throughout the dormitories, with radio communications to the Fire Department. A new FA/MNS will be installed in accordance with Specifications, NFPA 72, UFC 30600-01, UFC 4-021-01, and the Architectural Barriers Act (ABA). A new FA/MNS will be sole sourced as a Silent Knight EVS Series FA/MNS A new FA/MNS will communicate with the MHAFB AES IntelliNet 2.0 base-wide monitoring system. A new FA/MNS will be equipped with a compatible radio transmitter and VHF omni-directional antenna. The project will be performed in two stages, sequentially, as denoted by: Base for Building 2318 Option 1 (if exercised) for Building 2416. All IAW the statement of work (SOW). The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The United States Government has a requirement to remove and replace antiquated fire alarm systems in two dormitory buildings on Mountain Home Air Force Base in accordance with the attached Statement of Work and Specifications. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. Site Visit: A site visit for any interested parties will be held on August 7th, 2026 at 10:00 AM (MDT) to visit the work areas and have any questions related to the technical aspects answered. This site visit is not mandatory, and all relevant questions will be recorded and posted to the solicitation after. All interested parties will need to meet at the visitor's center at 9:30 AM local (MDT) to acquire day passes if you do not have base access already. The visitor's center is located just north of the main gate, on the west side of the highway. If you stay to the right as you approach the base, you can turn into the visitor center's parking lot about 100ft before the manned gate. Attempting to enter the base without a pass will result in a lengthy delay. All vehicles with company decals/logos will be re-directed to the rear entrance and not permitted to enter the main gate. Therefore, vehicles with no company decals/logos are preferred. We will be leaving the visitor's center at 9:50 AM local time (MDT). Questions must be submitted no later than 4:30 PM local (MDT), August 12th, 2026. Questions shall be directed to both POCs. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
