From Combined Synopsis/Solicitation posted on Feb 06, 20262/10/2026: The following three (3) questions and answers are being posted to clarify the requirement. 1) How much total memory are you needing per node? Answer: Total Memory is Per unit/computer The required RAM memory per the spec is 128GB DDR5-6400 ECC Registered 288-Pin SDRAM Quality Burn-in Certified by @Xi Req. 8+ DIMM MDB, 2+ CPU, max RAM speed CPU & load dependent and only for AMD & Xeon with DDR5 support as noted. Requires Rackmount with adequate ventilation.) 2) Can we use SAVES? Answer: Market Research was conducted via SAVES and the requirement was either not bid or the response was inadequate (missing specs) to determine compatibility with the requirement. This is being competed full and open. 3) Could you please confirm whether this request is brand-specific or if equivalent/ comparable specs are acceptable? If equivalents are allowed, please let us know if alternatives that meet or exceed the spec sheet requirements would be considered. Additionally, could you confirm the quantities for each line item (e.g., hard drives, memory, CPUs)? Answer: Neither the completed server, nor any of the components are brand specific; they are available and used by many computer manufactures to build complete computer systems in the commercial markets. Any component chosen must meet the minimum stated performance of the processor in GHz speeds; the bus speeds in MHz; and drive speeds in MB/s. This includes, but limited to, the motherboard, processor and cache, drives, RAM and all supporting components. A complete list of specifications and performance curves must be provided with your Quote for review and comparison by the FAA against the list of requirements. Manufacturer Support, Points of Contact must be provided with your Quote for confirmation of the provided specifications in the event component performance cannot be determined by the list of proposed specifications. The requirement is for (14) complete systems. The components provided in the Specs are commercially available to any supplier for these (14) complete systems. (1) of each component on the requirements list is required to complete (1) system for a total of (14) systems. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Original Post: The Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Target Generation Facility (TGF) requires 14 Computer Servers to replace outdated equipment. From Combined Synopsis/Solicitation posted on Feb 10, 20262/12/2026: the additional four (4) questions and answers (numbered 4-7) are being posted to clarify the requirement. 4) Can you confirm what specific drives you plan on using for the servers? Answer: 4th paragraph down in the spec .1 solid state memory drive. 5) I wanted to confirm if this will be purchased through SAVES or not? Answer: This will not be purchased through SAVES 6) Could you please confirm whether this request is brand-specific or if equivalent/ comparable specs are acceptable? If equivalents are allowed, please let us know if alternatives that meet or exceed the spec sheet requirements would be considered. Answer: This is not brand name specific. Equivalents that meet or exceed the spec are allowed but bear in mind this is essentially low price technically acceptable with technical acceptability defined by the specifications. 7) Additionally, could you confirm the quantities for each line item (e.g., hard drives, memory, CPUs)? Answer: See the response to question 3 posted on 2/10. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ 2/10/2026: The following three (3) questions and answers are being posted to clarify the requirement. 1) How much total memory are you needing per node?
