This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is for market research to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform or provide a potential requirement. The responses received from interested vendor will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs, in support of Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 19) is seeking sources for a potential requirement for the Veterans Healthcare System of Cheyenne, WY (CVAHCS) Reverse Distribution Cener (RDC) for HAZARDOUSE WASTE DISPOSAL. The Contractor shall provide disposal of Environmental Protection Agency s (EPA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) defined hazardous pharmaceutical waste. Services must include all labor, materials, tools, equipment, analysis, travel, transportation, documentation, waste treatment, disposal and support services required to categorize, package, transport, document and dispose of hazardous wastes from the RDC. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (HUBZone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business or large business) relative to 562211Hazardouse waste disposal facilities combined with collection and/or local hauling of hazardous waste. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. This is a Sources Sought announcement ONLY and is NOT a request for proposals or quotes. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposal nor solicitation of offerors. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only and a solicitation is not currently available.
