The U.S. Consulate Fukuoka requires a contractor to perform painting services for the Consulate Office Building (COB) of the U.S. Consulate in Fukuoka, Japan. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered. The U.S. Government may award a Purchase Order based on the initial quotation without discussion. The resultant contract/Purchase Order will be firm fixed price.? The U.S. Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award. Quotations of the Cover Letter. The U.S. Government intends to award a Purchase Order to the responsible company submitting a technically acceptable quote at the lowest price. The U.S. Embassy Tokyo intends to award the Purchase Order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. The U.S. Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and walk-through at the site, and the date for this conference and site visit is in the solicitation.
