Synopsis: Global Ground Support Extended Reach Deicer Overhaul- SOURCES SOUGHT. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this requirement including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. The Tennessee Air National Guard, Memphis ANG Base, Memphis, TN has been tasked to search for a contractor to pick up an ER2875 Global Ground Support Extended Reach Deicer (S/N GL28-0307-0036) from our location and perform an extensive overhaul repair. This requirement shall include on-site training at the Tennessee Air National Guard, Memphis ANG Base, Memphis, TN once the repairs are completed. The proposed requirement will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The type of solicitation issued will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of the Small Business Community to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price Contract. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a quote as a prime contractor no later than 4 August 2025, 12:00 P.M. EDT. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include a signed Sources Sought Information Request Form (attached to this posting). In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted. Special Notice Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement The Tennessee Air National Guard, located in Memphis Tennessee intends to issue a sole source firm fixed priced contract to GLOBAL GROUND SUPPORT, LLC 540 E Old Highway 56, Olathe, KS 66061. GLOBAL GROUND SUPPORT, LLC will provide total overhaul (parts and service) and repair of Air Force (AF) Asset 2007 Global Deicer, Model Number ER2875. This shall extend the life of the vehicle for up to seven (7) years. This includes shipping the vehicle to the contractor s facility, overhaul, paint, repair as necessary, return to the Tennessee Air National Guard located at 4593 Swinnea Rd. Memphis, TN. In addition, providing three (3) days of Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) training at the Memphis Air National Guard Base, 4593 Swinnea Rd. Memphis TN 38118. The requirement will be sole sourced to GLOBAL GROUND SUPPORT, LLC to get the required equipment back to operational capability. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b) (1) "soliciting from a single source." The NAICS code is 811111 and has a size standard of $9 M for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
