Summary

AI-generated · Jul 15, 2026

Emergency Medical Support and Evacuation (MedEvac) Services are needed to provide comprehensive air and surface medical transport for sick or injured travelers, including qualified medical personnel, escorts, equipment, and transportation licensed per local laws. The goal is to stabilize the traveler before and during transport to NASA’s hospital of choice, which may be in the United States or abroad. In addition, the contract should cover related travel-support services such as bedside case management and patient advocacy, medical translation/interpreting, uninterrupted hospital admission and discharge, payment guarantees, repatriation of remains, and reservation/call-up services to support a Soyuz crew landing event.

The current arrangement is a firm-fixed-price Purchase Order, and NASA is contemplating a follow-on, multi-year procurement. Responses to the rfi (80JSC026Medevac_RFI) will be evaluated solely to determine if the effort should be set aside for small business concerns, with the possibility of full and open competition at the Government’s discretion. Oral communications are not acceptable. Interested organizations should electronically submit capabilities and qualifications to Kendrea Vallien for the RFI by the specified deadline. The Center Ombudsman policy applies.
