The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) anticipates the need for a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project titled Emergency Repair Power Plant Generator at the Federal Correctional Institution La Tuna located at 8500 Doniphan Drive, in La Tuna, Texas 79821. FCI La Tuna is a federal correctional facility located at 8500 Doniphan Drive, Anthony, Texas 79821. The work to be performed in association with this project includes the following scope: Emergency Repair Power Plant Generator The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment for the Emergency Repair Power Plant Generator at FCI La Tuna. The Statement of Work attachment included with the Sources Sought Notice will provide complete requirements for the project. The solicitation will be posted at a later date. Access to the specifications and drawings attachments will require an active vendor registration at https://SAM.gov as well as your Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN) associated with your SAM registration. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project lies between $25,000 and $100,000. It merely conveys that the estimate/budget lies somewhere within that range). The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 811310 with a corresponding small business size standard of $12.5 million. Your business size metrics information entered in your SAM registration must be less than or equal to the small business size standard specified above.
