Summary

AI-generated · Aug 24, 2025

Emergency repair of Foundry Crane AE-105 requires replacing the 60-ton main hoist gear-case mechanical load brake assembly (S/N 10445) and related components (shafts, couplings, gears) with OEM parts, reinstalling, refilling with new oil, and conducting functional testing. Technicians must be NAVFAC P-307 certified, and a 100% rated-capacity load test on the 60-ton hoist must be performed. To preserve original form, fit, and function, parts must come from the OEM manufacturer (Konecranes) and be installed as specified in the attached Performance Work Statement.

This action is intended as a sole-source award to Konecranes, Inc. (OEM) for the required parts and services; a Single Source Justification is attached. The government does not reimburse responder costs, and while the notice invites interested parties to identify capabilities, it is not a competitive procurement. Vendors must be SAM-registered to be considered, and the work is expected to commence shortly after award per the attached PWS.
