The U.S. Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Natick Division, in support of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Soldier Center (DEVCOM-SC), G-6 Staff, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to Elsevier INC. located at 230 Park Ave New York, NY 10169-0005 under the authority as prescribed in FAR 13.106(b)(1). The Natick Soldier Combat Capabilities Developmental Command - Soldier Center (DEVCOM-SC) requires technical library search capabilities. Elsevier INC. are the sole providers of this equipment and the associated services. Changing the service provider would be unsuitable as Elsevier INC. is the sole provider of this comprehensive technological search catalog. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 519290 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. No solicitation document is available.
