The motor/brake assembly P/N 53983-12-3500-02 consists of a motor (HP: 30, RPM 2500 with tach, high inertia) and a brake P/N 53983-12-4601-02 (125 ft-lb, 120 VAC, 50Hz, 256TC, HORZ). The Brake Assembly Modification (P/N 53983-12-4600-01) is required prior to field installation for the GLOBUS X-Band Subsystem and is proprietary. The brake must be prepared electrically and mechanically to the specs in the Brake Assembly Modification to avoid catastrophic failure and damage. The assembly design is propreitary to CPI.
