Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) Sustainment IDIQ N00019-24-RFPREQ-TPM251-0652

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Cost Reimbursable five-year ordering period Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract sole source to General Atomics, San Diego, CA, for sustainment support of the Ford Class carriers and the Future French Carrier for the Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG). Task and delivery orders are anticipated to be issued for engineering, configuration management, logistics support, technical support, In-Service Support, Product support, and Life Cycle Sustainment of the EMALS and AAG systems aboard the Ford-class nuclear powered aircraft carriers and the Foreign Military Sales French Future Work will be performed in San Diego, California (98.6%); and various locations within the continental U.S (1.4%).
