SYNOPSIS- N6833526R1057 Electric Hydraulic Power Supplies PSC: 4930 NAICS: 334512 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to solicit, negotiate and make an award on a sole-source basis with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Hydraulics International, Inc. (CAGE: 56529) for the procurement of Part Number (PN): 040499-100; Nomenclature: ELECTRIC HYD POWER SUPPLY A/M27T-14 required to meet initial stand-up quantities for the Kinston Depot C-130 project. This PN is required to perform Organizational/ Intermediate and Depot Level Maintenance tasks on KC-130J type aircraft. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole-source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to procure on a limited competition basis to the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Hydraulic International, Inc, CAGE: 56529 and their authorized reseller Alliance Network Integrators CAGE: 9A8S6 for the procurement of Part Number (PN): 040499-100; Nomenclature: ELECTRIC HYD POWER SUPPLY A/M27T-14 required to meet initial stand-up quantities for the Kinston Depot C-130 project. This PN is required to perform Organizational/ Intermediate and Depot Level Maintenance tasks on KC-130J type aircraft. The proposed action is for hardware for which the Government intends to solicit with only the OEM and authorized distributors under the authority of FAR 6.103-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). Responsible, interested parties, however, may identify their interest by submitting a capabilities statement. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any responses received.
