Summary

AI-generated · Aug 24, 2025

Identify sources with the capability to produce ECS Bay Lifts as a one-time supply to support the EPAWSS modification (TCTO 889) on the F-15 at Robins AFB. The lifts enable mechanics to safely work inside the ECS Bay and Ammo Bay from below, handling overhead tasks such as drilling, rivet work, sanding, grinding, removing/installing ducts, tubing, brackets, coax, wiring, valves, pumps, motors, flex foam, and classified LRUs. The contractor must provide drawings prior to fabrication and deliver PDFs to the Government within six weeks of award, then relinquish ownership of the designs to Robins AFB; the Government will review and approve the drawings within two weeks of receipt.

This is market research to identify potential sources with the production capability, expertise, and experience to meet these qualification requirements for the ECS Bay Lifts.

The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the production, expertise, capabilities and experience to meet qualification requirements for the ECS Bay Lifts. The acquisition strategy is a One-Time Supply. The Bay Lift(s) allow the mechanics to safely work up inside the ECS Bay and the Ammo Bay of the F15 making it a vital versatile tool. Both the ECS Bay and the Ammo Bay can only be accessed from the bottom of the aircraft which makes any work be above their heads. A brief consolidation of these assigned tasks for the Eagle Passive Aggressive Warning Survivability System (EPAWSS) (TCTO 889) mod include drilling, bucking rivets, sanding, grinding, removing/installing ducts, tubing, brackets ,coax, flex foam, wiring, valves, pumps, motors and classified LRUs (Line Replaceable Unit). All of the items listed are essential in accomplishing the EPAWSS mod here at Robins AFB. The ECS Bay Lift will enable Robins AFB to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and ensure that the performance goals are met efficiently. The Contractor shall provide drawings to the Government for review prior to beginning fabrication of the ECS Bay Lifts. The Contractor shall electronically send the drawings in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) to the Government Point of Contacts (POCs) within six (6) weeks after contract award. The Contractor shall relinquish ownership of the designs to Robins AFB. The Government shall review the drawings and approve them within two (2) weeks of receiving the drawings.
