BACKGROUND AND DESCRIPTION: This requirement is for Eclipse software maintenance, repairs, and support for the Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerator. The eclipse software is proprietary software that optimizes the radiotherapy treatment plan based on a physician s dose instructions and information about the size, shape, and location of a tumor to be treated. It s used in conjunction with the VA-owned Varian Truebeam linear accelerator. The procurement is for a Base Year plus four Option Years, see attached SOW for full details and performance periods.
