Repair and overhaul of the DUPLEX STRAINER for Navy use, requiring a firm-fixed-price (FFP), not-to-exceed, or estimated price for the repair. Quotes must come from an authorized repair source, and the award will not be delayed to obtain authorization. Include unit price, total price, and repair turnaround time in the quote, and indicate whether the price is firm-fixed, not-to-exceed, or estimated. T&E-only quotes will not be considered.

The repair must meet the stated operational/functional requirements associated with the listed Cage Code and reference number, and be performed to the contractor’s repair/overhaul standards using applicable drawings, orders, and approved documents. If any change in design, material, servicing, or part number is proposed, it requires NAVICP-MECH Contracting Officer notification and a written change order, with justification and drawings as applicable (codes for changes range from Code 1 to Code 6). Quality assurance requires that all items comply with contract requirements, with contractor inspection records kept for 365 days after final delivery, and MIL-STD 2073 packaging applied as specified in the schedule.
