Background The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Southwest Fisheries Science Center (SWFSC), and Fisheries Ecology Division (FED): Purchase of twenty (20) Qiagen DNeasy 96 Blood & Tissue Kits #69582 for DNA extraction from fin tissue samples of fish using a filter-based system. Technical Specifications Sufficient material for DNA extraction from individual tissue samples is required. Products must be compatible with liquid handling automation on a BioRobot 3000 and in 96 well format. Products must use a silica-based system for nucleic acid purification. Product must allow purified product to be eluted in 100-200 microliter volume without direct handling. Responses to this notice shall include: 1.
