The Desert Air system for Unaccompanied personal Housing (UPH) is a specialized HVAC unit that controls humidity and conditions outdoor air to protect buildings and equipment and improve indoor air quality. USCG needs both the compressors and the unit s heating coils removed and replaced. Furnish and install new compressor skid and heating coils. The scope of work includes recovering the unit s refrigerant and removing the compressor skid along with both liquid drier cores. The unit s heating elements will also be removed. New, compatible compressor skid and heating elements will be provided and installed. A site visit is required to conduct field verification of any/all quantities and compatible compressors and heating element before submitting bids. Interested parties shall make arrangements for a site visit with the QAE as stated in the attached Statement of Work.
