The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West (MRCO-W), JBSA Fort Sam Houston, TX is requesting information and conducting market research to identify sources capable of providing DaVinci Robotic Disposable Items for the Department at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), JBSA Fort Sam Houston, TX. Refer to Attachment 1 for the list of salient characteristics. MRCO-W is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as part of market research to determine if there is an adequate number of qualified, interested contractors that are capable of satisfying the requirement. The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. This Sources Sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of MRCO-W's market research. No Request for Quote (RFQ) exists at this time. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are NOT quotes on which MRCO-W can issue any contract. This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute an RFQ. All information received in response to this Sources Sought marked "Proprietary" will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responses to the Sources Sought Notice will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. MRCO-W will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought. Do not submit pricing information in response to this Sources Sought. Confirm the Offeror s ability to provide two In-vivo Dosimetry systems including confirmation that the vendor's product fully satisfies the requirements outlined in Attachment 1. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Attachment 1 for the list of Salient Characteristics. 1. The system must be able to measure dose in real time. 2. The system must be able to measure dose in both stationary and rotational radiotherapy modalities. 3. The system must be able to measure dose from low to high energy range for both photons and electrons. 4. The system must be able to measure IO high photon dose points simultaneously using multiple channels. 5. The system must provide automatic patient temperature correction and leakage compensation. 6. The system must allow direct data export to Varian's ARIA Oncology Information System. 7. The system must be wall mountable with no cables lying on treatment room floor. 8. Its software must provide Record and Verify interface, automatic correction factor tools and Expected vs Measured dose difference visual indicators. 9. The system must allow software updates.
