THIS IS A FIRM FIXED PRICE SUPPLY TYPE CONTRACT Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific will be soliciting on a Brand name basis for Cooper Bearings in accordance with solicitation specifications. The anticipated posting date of the solicitation is on or about 8 September 2025 with a closing date on or about 12 September 2025. Requirement is being procured using FAR Part 12 and 13 Procedures. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted on the SAM.Gov Website: https://sam.gov. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. STATEMENT OF WORK Brand Name Purchase General Requirements: The equipment specified in this Contract is original to the Gladding Hearn designed and built 64-foot Patrol Boat (64PB), as procured by Government Contract N00024-07-F-2213, Modification 3. The Contractor will produce and deliver seven (7) new carrier bearing assemblies to replace identical bearing assemblies that have been in-service for over eighteen years. The carrier bearings conduct two propulsion drive shafts through a water-tight bulkhead, from the vessels' engines, marine gears and cardan shafts to the twin waterjet drives. The specified equipment to be ordered are components to the unique design of the Gladding Hearn 64PB.
