The Government does not have the pertinent technical data including additional detailed drawings for this item or dimensions for its manufacturing necessary for competitive procurement. Techmotiv (USA), Inc. and RENK America LLC are the only sources that have the requisite technical and engineering expertise to perform all efforts required to provide Piston Connecting Rods that meet design space requirements and Critical Item Product Function Specification. After the solicitation closes, the contracting officer will determine if a reverse auction will be held. If a reverse auction is held, contractors must be registered in the reverse auction system in order to participate in the auction. Additionally, the contractor representative participating in the auction must have taken the on-line reverse auction training prior to the auction.
