Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) UPGRADE for Motch Grinder Model 48CNC 26-65-1089

The DLA-Weapons Support (RICHMOND) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement to perform a Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) upgrade for an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Motch, Model 48CNC Grinder. The upgrade will entail providing FANUC 0i-TF Plus Controller, Analog Servo Controls, Servo Motors, Spindle System, Operator Pendant, and new Electrical Enclosure. These changes, upgrades, and controls will be integrated into the Model 48CNC Grinder. The upgrade cannot accept substitutions to the FANUC 0i-TF Plus Controller. Responses should be not exceed ten (10) one-sided 8.5 x 10 inch pages with a font that is no smaller than 10 point as this is not a request for a proposal but only a request for submission of a vendor's capability to perform this requirement. Place of performance will be initially at the DLA Industrial Plant Equipment Depot in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania with final work to be completed at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE), Jacksonville, Florida.
