Visitor Center hours of operation are Monday - Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST and Friday 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CST. It is highly recommended to arrive at the visitor center at least two (2) hours before the scheduled start time of the site visit, as the average wait time at the visitor center can range from 45 to 90 minutes. The visitor center is normally the least busy between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. CST. Please plan to get your base pass early, as we do not want to delay the site visit start time due to waiting on participants to get their pass.
