Construct a guide levee, an access ramp, a closure structure (including a 54-inch pipe, headwall, and flap gate), turf establishment, and improvements to an existing access road as part of the Comite River Diversion Brooks Lake project in East Baton Rouge Parish. The work is planned to take about 455 calendar days and will be awarded as a single firm-fixed-price contract based on 64 drawings and specifications to be issued with the Invitation for Bid.

Bids will be solicited via an Invitation for Bid with an estimated construction ROM of $5–$10 million. Prospective bidders must have active SAM registration, and a site visit is encouraged. The procurement package and any amendments will be posted on SAM. Some notices indicate a HUBZone set-aside; one record specifies that bids may be submitted by only one method (electronic submission or physical submission), not both.
