AI-generated · Oct 09, 2025

Magnet collar laminations are being sought for the B1pF prototype collaring assembly used in the Electron-Ion Collider’s interaction region. This is a sources-sought activity to assess capabilities and interest for in-house fabrication; no solicitation exists yet and this is for informational planning to help DOE BES survey available resources. Attachments include the SOW and machining drawings, with step files available upon request.

Respondents should describe their capabilities and relevant past experience, confirm that the work would be done in-house (subcontracting not allowed), and provide estimated lead time.
