SYNOPSIS: The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime Norfolk at Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Single Award Contract for the item listed below. The required item is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Part 13 and FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. ***NO GREY MARKET ITEMS AS ALL ITEMS/MATERIAL MUST BE NEW*** The Contract Line Items (CLINs) is as follows: CLIN 0001 CLIN 0001 - 53282100 CERAMIC FIBER WIRE PT#A31-209113 CF / CF SSOB-20-KK 20AWG X 1000FT MFR: Pt# A31-209113 QTY: 10 (1000 FEET) U/I: RO General Product Specifications Type: Type K Thermocouple (Chromel/Alumel) AWG: 20 AWG (American Wire Gauge), typically a solid conductor with a diameter of approximately 0.032" (0.8 mm) Insulation: Ceramic fiber braid on individual conductors and the overall jacket Temperature Range: Continuous use up to approximately 2200F (1205C) Intermittent use up to approximately 2600F (1430C) Color Code: Typically all white insulation with the negative wire having a white braid and the positive wire also having a white braid. Note: This differs from standard ANSI color coding for extension grade wire (yellow/red). Accuracy: Standard Limits of Error (SLE) thermocouple grade wire (e.g., +/- 2.2C or +/- 0.75%, whichever is greater). Construction: Two-wire parallel construction. Applications: Heat treating, furnace temperature surveys, kilns, and other extremely high-temperature environments. The requirement will be solicited as a total small business set aside. Award will be made based on the technical, Urgency Best delivery, lowest price. The solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2024-01 and DFARS Change Notice 10/30/2023. The anticipated delivery date for this acquisition is 30 Days ARO.
