Ceiling Increase for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Infrastructure Standards Development , Maintenance, And Related Activities 693JJ3-25-SN-0012
Summary
AI-generated · Aug 24, 2025Increase the ceiling of a single-award ID/IQ contract that supports ITS infrastructure standards development, maintenance, and related activities by $1,000,000, because the current $9,750,000 limit is insufficient to complete ongoing and planned tasks. The contract is in its fourth year, and the additional funding will allow high-priority projects to proceed while FHWA develops a new contract vehicle anticipated in FY2026.
No special requirements such as brand-name restrictions, site visits, or certifications are specified in this notice. This is a planning action to keep critical ITS standards work moving and to bridge to the upcoming contracting solution; questions should be directed to the contract specialist.
The purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the Federal Highway Administration s (FHWA) intent to modify a single-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for Non-Personal Services to Support the Intelligent Transportation Systems Joint Program Office (ITSJPO). FHWA anticipates increasing the ceiling by $1,000,000 to the following ID/IQ: INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS (ITS) INFRASTRUCTURE STANDARDS DEVELOPMENT , MAINTENANCE, AND RELATED ACTIVITIES 693JJ321D000005 Currently, the ID/IQ is in its fourth year of performance. However, it is apparent that the initial ceiling established for the award, $9,750,000, is significantly lower than what is needed to successfully complete all the tasks currently underway and envisioned in the near future. The current ID/IQ ceiling must be increased in order to allow for the award of high priority projects while FHWA puts in place a new contract vehicle. It is anticipated that the new vehicle will be put in place in FY 2026. Any questions pertaining this announcement should be addressed to the contract specialist, Malik Arnold at malik.arnold@dot.gov.
