The Defense Commissary Agency (DECA) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support a requirement for Cardboard and Plastic Removal and Recycling Services at Hawaii DeCA Commissary Locations: Schofield Barracks Pearl Harbor, Kaneohe Bay Hickam AFB Potential sources are required to comply with all local, state and federal regulations applicable to the removal, transportation and disposal of solid waste. All charges pertaining to the removal and transportation including but not limited to maintaining, emptying, transporting and dumping such containers and all state and local fee for the proper disposal of the waste shall be included in the contractor s price for this solid waste services. The Contractor shall pickup from the facilities based on the frequency schedule identified in the Statement of Work (SOW). Potential sources shall be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) and complete online representations and certifications. The results of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.
