Canine Search and Detection Teams DOC-PS-25-0007

The Office of Security s (OSY) objective is to maintain a secure environment in which citizens and Government employees can conduct business with confidence. One of these core business activities include providing trained Canine Search and Detection teams to detect explosives, explosive detection vehicle screening services, inspections in and around the building(s) on the grounds of the Herbert C. Hoover Building; at a minimum, inspection of areas to include: the consolidated mail room, loading dock area, all entrances, day care center, auditorium, parking areas and the building grounds to the curb. Additionally, the canine search and detection will provide presence and deterrence patrols through the HCHB facility and respond to suspicious package incidents as required.
