Firms that respond shall review the attached instructions and technical requirements and submit responses that: - Specify that offered products meet the specifications provided below; and - Provide detailed information to show clear technical compliance. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS/QUOTES. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this acquisition is 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing) with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. Firms responding should indicate socio-economic status (8(a) with Graduation Date, SDVOSB, EDWOSB, WOSB, small business, and/or HUBZone). Respondents are further requested to indicate their status as a foreign-owned/foreign-controlled firm and any contemplated use of foreign national employees on this effort. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside based upon responses hereto for any subsequent action. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be awarded a Department of Defense (DoD) contract. INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The United States Air Force, AFLCMC/PZIBB, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio 45433-5344 publishes this notice of intent to award a sole source contract for informational purposes only. This proposed action is for the acquisition of an annual Calibration and Preventative Maintenance (PM) service of three (3) Pamas Particle Counters (SN: 320-1196, 320-1202, 320-1208) located at Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio 45433. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13-106-1(b)(1), Contracting officers may solicit from only one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available , resulting in a firm fixed price contract. The Contracting Officer has determined that only one source is reasonably available: PAMAS. This proposed procurement will be a Sole Source under North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) 334516 - Other Measuring And Controlling Device Manufacturing. Business size standard is 1,000 employees. The proposed source is PAMAS, 1723 South Boston Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74119 USA. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, quotation, or exception to the intent to purchase on a sole source basis, which shall be considered by the Government if received within five (5) days of this notice.
