The DLA-Aviation is issuing this sources sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for one (1) C-Frame Hydraulic Press. Potential sources must provide turn-key machine with technical data, delivery, unloading and rigging, iuid tag, installation, foundation, testing, on-site operator, programmer, maintenance, electrical, and mechanical training. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. Responses should be not exceed ten (10) one-sided 8.5 x 10 inch pages with a font that is no smaller than 10 point as this is not a request for a proposal but only a request for submission of a vendor's capability to perform this requirement. Please comment on the draft purchase description of whether the current characteristics are achievable, or whether the Government should consider an alternative that is commercially available. Specific areas of the purchase description, the government would like to highlight are: Section 3.9.1 Foundation The contractor shall be responsible for all of the qualified personnel and machinery for demolition and removal of the existing foundation and installation of the new foundation. An existing foundation can be reused if deemed acceptable. The contractor shall be responsible for testing the soil for hazardous materials. When it is determined that hazardous materials have been found, the Government shall be responsible for the disposal of the soil.
