Building 570 Library Power & Data, Kirtland Air Force Base, Bernalillo County, New Mexico W912PP25QA040

This action was awarded as an 8(a) Sole Source Set-Aside under the authority of section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. The contractor shall furnish all parts, material, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to complete the work for Building 570 Library Power and Data. The work shall include the following requirements listed in the specific requirements. The contractor shall assure the attached waste summary checklist and DD Form 1354 are completed within three (3) working days of “place in service date” and submitted to USACE and Kirtland AFB Real Property office to get it staffed to the BCE for signature, at the conclusion of the project. a. Demolition 1. Contractor must prep power and data connections for new workstations. 2. Contractor must remove existing projector from B570 Library ceiling. Existing ceiling mount power outlet to remain. b. Construction 1. Contractor will be required to coordinate with UNICOR as they will provide and install six (6) new workstations in B570 Library at south wall. 2. Contractor must hardwire one common ground circuit of UNICOR supplied power infeed to existing wall power outlet. 3. Contractor must provide & install all phone & data cable & data ports in workstations through cubicle panel raceways in B570 Library. Populate each data port with one (1) LAN, CAT 6 cable color green, one (1) DREN, CAT 6 cable color purple, and one (1) Phone, CAT 6 Cable color green. 4. Contractor must remove & salvage existing Horn & Strobe on B570 Library south wall and re-install above new workstation wall height, ensuring visibility from outside workstation. 5. Contractor must install Gov’t provided ceiling tile at removed projector location in B570 Library.
