The procurement requires specific vehicle features including a Engine, 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 with Dynamic Fuel Management, Direct Injection and Variable Valve Timing, includes aluminum block construction (355 hp [265 kW] @ 5600 rpm, 383 lb-ft of torque [518 Nm] @ 4100 rpm) (STD), Engine air filtration monitor, 4-wheel Drive, Air Filter, heavy-duty, cooling, external engine oil cooler, and heavy-duty air-to-oil integral to driver side of radiator. Other required features such as remote entry/start, leather wrapped steering wheel, power features, safety technologies such as emergency braking and blind spot detection, and third-row power fold seats. This brand name justification specifically targeting Chevrolet vehicles is to maintain fleet uniformity for the USMS.
